Control Systems

Valve Control Systems

Precision valve control is essential in mobile systems used to apply fluids, such as spraying crops or cleaning roads. Operators must be able to quickly turn on or shut off fluid flow to avoid wastage or accidents.

A valve control system from Texas Industrial Remcor (TIR) provides a cost-effective way to manage fluid flow in mobile spraying systems. Once installed, the TIR system enables the operator to turn fluid flow on and off to individual output lines via a conveniently mounted switch control. Operators also gain the ability to adjust fluid pressure with a switch or stop all output lines simultaneously with a master control switch.

Selecting a Boom Control System from Texas Industrial Remcor

TIR works with organizations across numerous industries, providing sprayer valves and valve control systems that keep costs down and improve efficiency. The TIR automated valve control system offers a cost-effective replacement for the manually controlled pressure setting valves and actuating valves that can slow the spraying process and complicate adjustments. Available as an original design or as an upgrade or change-out for existing set-ups, the smart technology in our boom control system greatly increases the efficiency and effectiveness of mobile spraying operations.

Selecting a boom control system from TIR is quick and easy. Simply follow these steps to find the best match for your system upgrade or change-out needs:

  • Determine the number of output lines
  • Measure the diameter of the main input line and return line.
  • Measure the diameter of the output lines.
  • Calculate the amount of fluid output through each line.
  • Measure the pressure of the system, both when applying fluid and blocking fluid.
  • Determine any additional output line needs for operator improvements.
  • Review the standard systems specifications in our online store to find the appropriate Control System Kit.

TIR is proud to be your one-stop shop for all your valve control system needs. We offer a Control System Kit to meet every need, and all products are compatible with each other. If you cannot find what you need in the standard systems shown on our website, we can design a custom system to meet your unique valve control system needs.

What’s Included in a TIR Boom System?

TIR Control System Kits contain all of the essential parts you need to easily install your system, including:

  • Control panel
  • Pressure regulator
  • Sprayer control harness
  • Valve, regulator, and mounting bracket assemblies

We also offer drop-in replacement parts for Raven and TeeJet systems.

Easy Installation for TIR Boom Control Systems

Once you have your system, follow these installation steps:

  1. Locate and mount the control box.
  2. Mount the valve and pressure regulator assembly.
  3. Connect the cable harnesses, valves, and pressure regulator.
  4. Connect the fluid lines (hose barb to NPT fittings not supplied):
    • 1 pressure hose barb and 1 return line hose barb, both the same NPT male size.
    • 1 output hose barb for each output line, all the same as the male size
  5. Connect the main power wire to a 12 VDC power source (usually the battery).
  6. Turn on the pump.
  7. Test the system.

If you have questions during installation, our customer service team will happily assist you. After installation is complete, you’ll be on your way to better control, less product waste, and higher operator productivity.
